Join us for VIBE: Open Mic Series, a welcoming space for creatives to share their art in a cozy, coffeehouse-style setting.

This event invites artists to present pieces that resonate with our chosen theme, while providing an opportunity for everyone to participate or simply enjoy the performances. Hosted by a local artist, VIBE offers a relaxed atmosphere with snacks, drinks, and the chance to connect with others in a meaningful and intentional way, regardless of age or background. Come chill out, listen, and maybe even share your own creative work!

Theme: Faith & Justice
Featured Artist: Micah Bournes is a poet and musician from Long Beach,  California. His work often includes themes of culture, justice, and faith. He is the author of “Here Comes This Dreamer”, co-editor of the “Fight Evil With Poetry” anthology, and has released 8 albums in various genres including Hip Hop, Blues, Folk, Spoken Word, and more. For over a decade, Micah has been performing and teaching creative writing workshops at universities, conferences, festivals, concerts, and churches around the world.

All-Church Fall Retreat

Join us for our fall retreat as we go to the Poconos to take a break from the city, enjoy the beautiful Poconos mountains, and connect with God and community in a refreshing space.

WHO: Hope East Village, Hope Midtown, Hope West Side

WHERE: We will be going to Spruce Lake Retreat Center (www.sprucelake.org) in the Poconos, a beautiful camp that also features various activities such as nature hikes, tennis, basketball, etc.

WHEN: Nov 15th-17th (Fri-Sun). We will be departing by rental bus/carpool Friday night, Nov 15th and returning Sunday afternoon, Nov 17th.

HOW MUCH:

Adults (19+) - $189
College + Teens (12-18)  - $89
Kids (ages 6-11) - $49
Kids 5 and under are FREE

*There will be a kids' program available during the sessions.
**Space is Limited - Please Register quickly to reserve your spot!**
